Do you have any details about the field trips (time, etc)? Most of the days aren't our usual TWISPP days, so I want to make sure to schedule properly so we can go!!  Thanks!!! |

Greetings TWISPPers
 Here is March in a nutshell: March 7th: Zoo fieldtrip! There will be one TWISPP class at Arizona for those unable to attend the zoo. Thursday March 13th: Parent's Night Out from 5pm to 9pm Monday March 17th: Last day to RSVP for TWISPP classroom space during Spring break Field Trip Week. Limited class availability - we cannot guarantee space if you do not RSVP!! Friday March 21st: Parent's Night Out from 5pm to 9pm Tuesday March 25th: Kite Flying at the Del Rey Lagoon: Go fly a kite - or just play in the sandbox : ) Wednesday March 26th: Train Museum at Griffith Park: We're going for a train ride! Thursday March 27th: Carousel and Playground at the Santa Monica Pier. Friday March 28th: the Page Museum: Check out some wooly mammoths and then have some fun at the park. Any questions ask your teacher or call (310) 337-7115 Ext 166. |

March will soon be upon us and that means... TWISPP is going to the LA Zoo!! Please please register ahead of time to take advantage of our special pricing and lunches. I've attached the registration form to this post - just print it out and bring it with you, cash in hand, to your nearest TWISPP teacher. Your deadline is FEBRUARY 22nd Thanks all, Maria |

Hey parents,
TWISPP will be having a Spring Break Field trip week coming up in March. This means 4 consecutive days of TWISPP field trips March 25-28! Let us know what your preferred spots are by voting or posting your top pick. Field trips are a great way to reinforce concepts and ideas that we talk about in class, and a great opportunity for us to see your child outside the classroom environment. It's also a lot of fun for staff and a great way to get to know other parents. thanks for your vote! Maria |

Greetings! My name is Melissa.
My son, Sam, is a graduate of TWISPP at the Venice location. He's now in the Hawthorne School District and receives speech and OT from them. He goes to PTN for PT. My younger son, Natie, is in Brett's class at the Arizona location although he originally started out in Ina and then Rumi's classes at Venice. I am an elementary school teacher and work part-time for the Special Education Department in Lynwood Unified School District. My husband, Jeff, is a police officer for LAPD and has already put in requests for extra patrols at both the Venice and Arizona locations. He had that beat-up camper/RV (that had been permanently parked at the Arizona location for about a year) towed! If you see me around, please stop me and say "hi!" |

Hi I'm Sally. My son Nathan graduated from Teacher Ina's class last year at the Venice location.
He currently gets OT at the Arizona location. This is a great website! |

Hello Parents,
Starting Oct 1st, the Venice Location will now offer TWISPP 5 days a week in the afternoon. (Previously, we only had class Mon, Tues, and Thurs) If anyone would like to change thier current days to include a Wed pm or a Fri pm please call me (Dayna) and let me know. Also, these will be good times to do make-ups, so let me know when/ if you need to do a make up day. Thanks! |

Hey Everyone,
This is Dayna, I help run the TWISPP Program, and you may have seen me around in class here and there. I am really excited for our new Forum, and I will do my best to answer any questions you have. Please remember that this is a website, and although we will do our best to keep it only Therapy West Parents, there is always a chance that an outside person will gain access to the group. In this vein, some will be willing to share more than others, and I encourage you all to lean on each other (and me!) for support, but please respect each other's boundaries with sensitive information. Great job on the website. It looks wonderful. Here's my intro: My name is Deanne. I am mom to Rhett who attends TWISPP at the Arizona location, He also has Speech at Venice & Arizona and gets PT at Arizona as well. I am currently a SAHM, but I am a massage therapist and a bookkeeper when I do work. I know... wierd combo huh? I guess you can say, that I like variety. I hope to get to know some more moms on here. -Deanne |
